Neurological Disorder Support

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

(Source: Essential Oils Desk Reference (EODR)) [Note:

The lack of control forces the muscles to spasm, resulting

in twitching and cramps. The sensory pathways are

unaffected so feeling is never lost in the afflicted muscles.

Juniper may support nerve function and Frankincense

may help clear the emotions of fear and anger, which is

common with people who have this neurological disease.

When these diseases are contracted, people often

become suicidal; these essential oils may help to support

the nervous system.

Rosemary, Frankincense, Omega Blue softgels
Helichrysum, Sage, Juniper, Clove, Cardamom
Hope, Joy, Gathering, Brain Power, Clarity, Forgiveness

3 drops Rosemary
1 drop Helichrysum
1 drop Ylang Ylang
2 drops Clove
Make the blend in the order it is given starting with

Rosemary and mix well. When all is added, apply to

location as described below.

Direct, 3-4 times a day
Diffusion 30 minutes, 2-3 times daily

Dilute 50-50 and use 1-3 drops on brain reflex points on

the forehead, temples, and mastoids (just behind the

ears). Use a direct pressure application, massaging 6-10

drops of diluted oil from the base of the skull down the

neck and down the spine; put a few drops of the oil on a

loofah brush and rub along the spine vigorously (always

use a natural bristle brush since the oils may dissolve

plastic bristles).

Sulfurzyme, MultiGreens, Mega Cal, Super C, Super B,

Longevity softgels, Omega Blue softgels

Sulfur deficiency is often prevalent in neurological

diseases. Sulfur requires calcium and Vitamin C for the

body to metabolize; Super B and Sulfurzyme work well

together to help repair nerve damage and the myelin

Regenolone Cream, Prenolone + Cream, PD 80/20

NOTE: Never use hot packs on neurological problems.

Always use cold packs to reduce pain and inflammation.

In other words, reduce the temperature of the damaged

site.  Vita Flex has been shown to reduce the symptoms

of Parkinson's disease by 89% in animal studies. These

diseases are mainly caused by metals in the brain,

causing misfiring of neurons (See Also: Brain Disorders in

the EODR).

Sulfur deficiency is very prevalent in these neurological

diseases. Sulfur requires calcium and Vitamin C for the

body to metabolize. Super B and Sulfurzyme work well

together to help repair nerve damage and the myelin

I have an acquaintance who was diagnosed with Lou

Gehrig's Disease in February and has already begun to

feel the devastating effects of this serious disease. Her

voice is barely understandable in the morning

and cannot be interpreted past mid afternoon. I'm not

aware of any other symptoms. Has anyone dealt with

this disease? What YL protocol is recommended other

than visiting the clinic in Ecuador? The EODR

recommends Juniper Oil and possibly NingXia Red.

Any comments would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you. Gary Nelson

Hello Gary and all

Here are some posts that I saved from the lists. Hopefully

these will help.

Lou Gehrig's Disease is another name for Amyotrophic

Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a degenerative nerve disorder. ALS

affects the nerve fibers in the spinal cord which control

voluntary movement. Muscles require continuous

stimulation by their associated nerves to maintain their

tone. Removal or deadening of these nerves results in

muscular atrophy. The lack of control forces the muscles

to spasm, resulting in twitching and cramps. The sensory

pathways are unaffected so feeling is never lost in the

afflicted muscles. Supplements: JuvaTone, Chelex, Power

Meal, Ultra Young and water create a better firing of the

Hi Kathleen

I'd like to add a thought that there is an emotional side

to [all of] this. According to Louise Hay, emotions with

this particular health challenge are Lack of Self Worth or

Denial of Success. Possibly want to see if this fits and look

at the oils to accept and build worthiness. Just a thought,

Melody Strite

Dear Linda (Lou Gehrig's disease)

The oils of Brain Power, Frankincense, and Sandalwood

are rubbed on the head - the temples, the forehead, the

mastoid bone behind the ears, and across the back of the

neck. Always have dad inhale the oil you are applying as

well. Smell is the quickest way to the emotional centers

of the brain.

We are not legally allowed to diagnose or prescribe,

since we are not doctors, but if it were me, I'd do a couple

drops of each oil waiting 5-10 minutes in between. I'd do

this 3 times a day. Everyone is different, so I always

encourage folks to use your own intuition as to how

much and how often based on his reactions, etc.

The Power Meal can be blended or stirred into a protein

shake with a juice, crushed ice, and you can always add a

banana for thickness and fullness. This IS a meal

replacement and is so good for you! I have it every day

The Be Fit and Essentialzyme are swallowed. Many

people who can't or don't like to swallow, open up their

supplement capsules and pour the powdered ingredients

into their shake. The harder vitamins can also be crushed

up inside the shake. This could be a simpler way to go.

Pineapple juice makes it sweet!

I would highly recommend that you purchase an

Essential Oil Desk Reference so you can look at the

Raindrop Technique. The EODR book above is available

from If you learn it, you can do

it for him and it would be highly beneficial. There is also

a video you can learn from available from Young Living.

This book is also your guide for using essential oils.

Please don't hesitate to ask me questions any time,

Blessings, April

Dr. Gary Young's manager, Monte, of St. Mary's farm

came down with Lou Gehrig’s disease and was given 2

months to live. It affected his breathing, swallowing food

and was down to having trouble swallowing water. Dr.

Young rubbed the oils of Frankincense, Sandalwood and

Brain Power on him 5-7 times a day and then were able

to give him Power Meal, Essentialzyme, and crushed

through a straw. He was back at work within a week.

I hope this helps a person to understand why you are still

in pain when you apply an oil and the pain is still there.

Its internally that needs to be address also.

Did you know that the oils are the catalyst of the delivery

system within the supplements?
